Mark as template
Open the Doc, choose More, then Template → Mark as Template. Unmark the same way. Home cannot be a template.
Import
On the destination Doc, More → Template → Import. Pick another Doc you marked. Its Notes blocks are added at the bottom. If the destination is still Untitled with an empty description, the template can fill those too.
What imports
Import copies Notes layout items. It does not copy nested Docs, shares, or comments. Build a project skeleton with New Doc after you import Notes.
